India’s Tata Power has issued debentures worth $334 million, Economic Times reports. The bonds will carry a coupon of 11.4% per year, with a step up provision if the bonds are not called after 10 years.
The company has appointed Standard Charted Bank and Yes Bank as joint lead arrangers for the deal, adds Reuters. In April, the company raised $450 million through a hybrid capital offering.
