Merlin, a prime brokerage services and technology provider, has appointed Brian McKenna as a partner in Merlin Institutional Group. His role will include expanding the firm’s institutional sales efforts to large hedge funds and money managers in New York and the Northeast region. Merlin’s existing partners include Jesse Cole, Jason Mallor and Jim Magill. McKenna was previously senior managing director and global relationship manager at independent financial advisory group Collins Stewart Hawkpoint.
