California-based Van Hulzen Asset Management has launched the Iron Horse Fund in partnership with New York-based Witter Partners. The new mutual fund will invest in dividend‐paying U.S. equities and employ a call strategy for capital appreciation and reduction of equity risk.

Witter Partners is the strategic distribution and marketing partner of Van Hulzen, which will serve as the fund’s advisor. Van Hulzen will utilize its proprietary risk management process, which targets lower portfolio volatility as compared to the S&P 500 Index and other equity indices.
