Property and Building has completed the acquisition of an office building in Chicago, Reuters reports. The unit of IDB Holdings paid a total of $187 million for the acquisition.

The buyer paid $7.5 million initially and will pay the rest after the completion of the deal. The 17-storey building, which was completed in 2008, is 91% rented to two tenants, adds Globes. The buyer will finance the acquisition with its own resources and external funding.
