Kornitzer Capital Management is planning to alter one of its Buffalo funds, MutualFundWire reports. The Kansas-based mutual fund firm has already filed to change the name and strategy of the $184.6 million Buffalo Balanced Fund.

Kornitzer is also adding a co-portfolio manager, Paul Dlugosch, for the fund. Effective from July 29, 2011, the balanced portfolio will become the Buffalo Flexible Income Fund.
