Paladin Capital is amending its investment strategy after reporting two years of slow earnings growth, Business Day reports. As per the new strategy, the private equity investment holding firm will target fewer but successful projects instead of spreading itself in numerous investments.
It will allocate to projects in which Paladin has a controlling stake so that it can have more interaction with management, which will also help to influence strategy. The firm will aim at companies with strong management and on sectors that had high barriers to entry but showed growth potential.
