Pal Airlines has filed an appeal to stop Lan Airlines’ planned acquisition of Brazil’s Tam, Bloomberg reports. The intended merger has been valued at $3.3 billion. Chile’s antitrust tribunal TDLC is reviewing the takeover. The country’s constitutional court will assess the Chilean airline’s request on August 10.
