Trade Bank of Iraq (TBI) has selected Hamdiya al-Jaf as its new chairwoman and president of the bank, Reuters reports. She will be replacing Hussein al-Uzri. Al-Jaf is joining the state-owned lender from Rafidain Bank, where she was serving as an adviser. Set up in 2003, TBI is involved in financing purchases for the food ration program and securing private sector financing for power and other reconstruction projects.
