The Central Bank of Kenya has cancelled licenses of two FX bureaus in order to bring the operation and licensing of all players within set guidelines, Daily Nation reports. The licenses of Amex Forex Bureau and Mombasa Forex Bureau were withdrawn in line with the Central Bank Act.

Amex lost the license on July 22, while Mombasa on June 30. The move leaves 122 Forex Bureaus in the Kenyan market.
