Perritt Capital Management is planning to launch a new offering, MutualFundWire reports. Michael Corbett, president, CEO and CIO and his team are seeking to start a small-cap mutual fund.

The product will invest in companies with a market cap in the $500 million to $3 billion range. Perritt currently offers two mutual funds the Perritt MicroCap Opportunities Fund and the Perritt Emerging Opportunities Fund.
