Domo, launched by Omniture co-founder and CEO Josh James, has raised $33 million in a Series A venture capital financing round led by Benchmark Capital. Matt Cohler, general partner of Benchmark, has joined Domo’s board of directors.

The company intends to use the capital to advance its SaaS-based solution designed to drive value from the tens of billions of dollars that have been spent on business intelligence systems. The new investment round brings total investment in Domo to $43 million.
