Serbia will get a €137 million aid package from Germany, Bloomberg reports. The country will use €105 million to upgrade energy projects, including €69 million to be used for a hydroelectric plant in eastern Serbia and €35 million to store ash at the coal-fired Nikola Tesla plant west of Belgrade. Serbia will also use €7 million of the funds to strengthen institutions and state administration. The remaining €25 million will be used to boost economic growth and create jobs. Since 2000, Germany has provided €1.09 billion of financial aid to Serbia.
