HSBC Mutual Fund has rolled out a new close-ended debt scheme, India Infoline reports. The HSBC Fixed Term Series 81 aims to generate returns by investing in a portfolio of fixed-income instruments maturing within the time profile of the scheme.
The scheme offers growth and dividend payout options. It will allocate around 100% of assets to money market instruments with low- to medium-risk profile. The portfolio is benchmarked against the Crisil Short Term Bond Fund Index and will be managed by Ruchir Parekh and Kedar Karnik.
