Brazil’s Bioenergy is seeking to allocate $3.8 billion for the development of wind farms in Maranhao, The Wall Street Journal reports, citing Brasil Economico. The wind and solar energy projects development firm is setting up 50 ventures in the Brazilian state. The company already plans to sell power from its projects and conduct an energy auction in the country on August 17 and 18. The funding for the investment may be provided by the government and non-state banks.
