Ukrspecexport is selling more than 200 T-72 tanks to the Defense Ministry of Ethiopia, Channel 6 News Online reports, citing UKRINFORM. The Ukrainian state-controlled arms exporter will raise nearly $100 million from the deal.

The state-run arms dealer will also get orders for repairs and upgrades of the supplied tanks to Ethiopia in the future. The seller expects the deal to have major economic and social impact.
